Diversity
We Embrace Diversity
Diversity is central to the spirit of our research group. We are committed to being inclusive towards all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, mother tongue, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, mental health conditions, socio-economic and family status, or any other status.
We are devoted to reflecting on and improving our research culture in the light of inclusion and diversity in the group.
Creating a Culture of Equality
“Universalism” as part of the Mertonian norms (written by Robert Merton, 1942) describes the ethos in which the scientific standard should be irrespective of the status or personal traits of the scientist, and that good scientific praxis includes preserving and extending the “equality of opportunity”
